We were at the San Miguel At The Bay, SM Mall of Asia after lunch on Nov. 27, 2010 and we saw the installation of a 12 feet bronze statue of Manny Pacquiao. On Google search, the statue was scupted by Fred Baldemor and was sponsored by Unilab's Alaxan FR 'Aray Ko Galing Ko' promo. Besides Manny Pacquiao statue, there are also statues of everyday Filipino heroes: Farmer, Nurse, Construction Worker and Teacher all casted in bronze.
I felt pride seeing the statue of Manny Pacquiao with arms raised signifying victory, a victory from the fights held but also victory from the everyday chores of ordinary Filipinos.

The location was finished at about 7pm on the same day Nov 27, 2010.
I likened Manny Pacquiao as the new Bruce Lee. A bronze statue of Bruce Lee stands at the Avenue of the Stars in Hong Kong. Now we have a bronze statue of our own in the form of Manny Pacquiao standing tall at the San Miguel By The Bay, SM Mall of Asia.
