Remembering MICHAEL JACKSON's Visit to the PHILIPPINES in 1976 by EDDIE ILARDE - July 6, 2009

Today's generation might not know it, Michael Jackson had visited the Philippines 3 times already.

Michael first visited the Philippines in the late 1960s when they were known as the Jackson 5 with his brothers.

Michael's 2nd visit was in 1976 also with his brothers which held a concert at the Araneta Coliseum. The group also visited GMA Studios in a noontime program called Student Canteen hosted by Eddie Ilarde, the late Helen Vela, Coney Reyes and the late Bobby Ledesma.

Michael Jackson's 3rd visit to the Philippines was on Dec 7-9, 1996.

Here's a video with Eddie Ilarde reminiscing the days of Michael Jackson's visit to the Philippines in 1976, video courtesy of 24 Oras which aired July 6, 2009

WAPAKMAN Teaser Trailer starring MANNY PACQUIAO, DAVE BATISTA & NICOLE SCHERZINGER

I was waiting for the movie TRANSFORMERS REVENGE OF THE FALLEN when this hilarious trailer was shown. The movie "Wapakman" starring Manny Pacquiao, Dave Batista (famous half-Pinoy wrestler), and Nicole Scherzinger (half-Pinay of the Pussycat Dolls) is causing a global media buzz. In addition to the buzz, check out one of the movie's first trailers because it's hilarious.

The early word is that the film is a sci-fi, comedy kung-fu movie. Pacquiao plays the main character who develops super powers to fight his arch nemesis played by Batista.

FHM PHILIPPINES JULY 2009 Issue - AUBREY MILES Cover Babe in 'Full Frontal' Nudity

Shocking as it may seem for the not-yet-desensitize folks out there, the FHM Philippines magazine July 2009 issue shows cover babe Aubrey Miles in full frontal nudity with a hand-marked mud covering those mammaries and one thigh crossing over the other in artistic fashion.

I wonder what critics would say about the cover for this month's issue and of course it would be uncomfortable for parents to bring their kids inside a bookstore with those magazines on display. A cover babe with just a string bikini would be somewhat 'decent' but with just the thigh crossing over the other thigh to cover the mons pubis without any 'saplot' is already crossing over the boundaries of decency and pornography. What do you think ?
