MANNY PACQUIAO Starts BAGUIO CITY Training via Non-Stop on 1st Day - Sept. 21, 2009

Manny Pacquiao started his 1st day of training in Baguio city on Sept. 20, 2009 via non-stop exercises with rounds of basketball. Manny Pacquiao said that his strength comes from his inspiration for the Filipino people and not from the artificial enhancing substances accused by Floyd Mayweather, Sr.

Manny Pacquiao will meet Miguel Cotto on Nov. 14, 2009 in Las Vegas.

Here's the video from 24 Oras which aired Sept. 21, 2009

DCRJ's not IMPRESSED with FLOYD MAYWEATHER JR. Win Over JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ

Photobucket
This is like Deja Vu for JMM. Juan Manuel Marquez getting decked in the 2nd Round by Pretty Boy Floyd.

Undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr. may have beaten Juan Manuel Marquez yesterday but his victory was shamefully tainted with weight issues during their weigh-in. Floyd carelessly weighed-in at 2 lbs. excess of their agreed 144 lbs catch weight. The naturally bigger Floyd dwarfed the Mexican, a natural lightweight, thus having an unfair advantage by Floyd. In fact, he wanted to pay the $600,000 penalty rather than treating the Mexican with respect. Unable to adjust to his new weight, Juan Manuel Marquez was an easy target for the faster Floyd.

Here are my thoughts why Juan Manuel Marquez lose

1. JMM lacks lateral head movement, he just doesn't have the head angle movement that would confused Floyd's targeting prowess. Manny Pacquiao has that head angle movement which would be an inconvenience for Floyd.

2. JMM doesn't have an angular surprise attack in his arsenal. In order to confuse your opponent, one should have an angular surprise attack, an attack that won't let your opponent know where it will be coming from. JMM did a monotonous surprise attack which seems predictable for Floyd. Again, Manny Pacquiao's has a numerous arsenal of angular attacks.

3. JMM has no timing. Whenever JMM manages to deliver head shots Floyd just smiled at him while JMM just looks at him, if that were Manny Pacquiao a surprise follow-up shot will be given to that stupid grimace of Floyd...it's all about timing, catching your opponent unaware. JMM lacks that.

4. JMM has no punching power. His punches seems to bounce-off Floyd's silly face. Manny Pacquiao has tremendous punching power. Period.

5. JMM hasn't adjusted to his new found weight. During the fight I could see JMM's flabs. Actually JMM has more flabs than muscles while Floyd has chiseled ones that could almost explode. Manny Pacquiao has better chiseled muscles which is similar to Bruce Lee's while Floyd has chiseled muscles like a rap musician...so who do you think is better ? a chiseled muscle like Bruce Lee or a chiseled muscle like a rap singer ? I thought so too.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. manages to uphold his self-proclaimed title as Pretty Boy Floyd. After the JMM fight, there's not even a scratch seen over his face. That's what Floyd manages to do best, by avoiding getting hit in the face. I would like to see Manny Pacquiao mess up his face in the future, I'm pretty sure he would be able to erase that 'pretty boy' off his label. 'Pity boy' would be appropriate after that.

MOYMOY PALABOY & ROADFILL Sings Live 'ANGELINA' in SOP - Sept. 20, 2009

Moymoy Palaboy & Roadfill are now in a different level in the local entertainment. You thought they could only do lipsynching of popular tunes which made them an internet sensation. That perception changed after the release of their DVD album 'Uploaded' last March 2009 where you can hear their real singing voices.

Yesterday I recorded their singing with Nonito Donaire Jr. in Celebrity Duets which added a voting advantage to contender Nonito Donaire, Jr. because a judge praised their performance, now they did a song number with their real singing voices in SOP and it was surprisingly entertaining.

Here's Moymoy & Roadfill doing a rendition of the classic 'Angelina' with their real singing voices aired today Sept. 20, 2009. 'Angelina' in promotion of Yaya & Angelina: The Spoiled Brat Movie to be shown in local cinemas starring Michael V. and Ogie Alcasid.

JEEPNEY TOURS - New Way To Rediscovering MANILA

Photobucket

You can't say that you've been to Manila if you haven't had the chance to ride the cultural icon of the Philippines, the jeepney!

The jeepney is a unique transportation that can only be found in the Philippines. It was originally made from the US military jeeps that were left to the Filipinos after World War II. With great Filipino ingenuity, the body was remodeled by adding some metal roofs and decorating it with vibrant colors. It has rapidly emerged as a creative and popular means of public transportation. Tagged as the “King of the Road,” it has become an enduring symbol of Philippine pop culture.

Hence, the introduction of the concept of “Jeepney Tours,” a breakthrough in Philippine tourism that offers convenient and daily sightseeing tours to travelers staying in five-star hotels who wish to explore the best of Manila. Its main objective is to leave a positive image of the Philippines with every single ride.

The tours will take the travelers on a fascinating tour of the historical and vibrant city of Manila onboard a custom-built air-conditioned jumbo jeepney which can easily seat 20 people. A tour facilitator will join the passengers for the whole duration of the tour to point out interesting landmarks and give you brief backgrounds on the places that are visited.

Stuck in Manila traffic? Fret not! There is a videoke system onboard to keep the guests entertained on the way back. The jeepney has a cooler for storing cold bottled drinks to keep the guests refreshed and hydrated at all times.

Jeepney Tours is an essential introduction to Manila in a fun and informative way and it links the travelers to the main attractions of the city. It is a perfect gift that can be offered to visiting friends and colleagues to experience all the magical sights and sounds of Manila in an entertaining, comfortable, and secure environment.

"Jeepney Tours is a tourism breakthrough that we are extremely proud of. Despite all the challenges, our profound commitment to the tourism industry fueled us to develop a major tourism infrastructure that transports the tourists to a day filled with fascinating experiences, a day packed with cultural learning and beautiful memories that will make them remember the Philippines at its best,” says Clang Garcia, managing director of Jeepney Tours.

THEME PARK Rising in TAGUM CITY, DAVAO DEL NORTE, PHILIPPINES

Photobucket

TAGUM CITY – An eco-tourism park patterned after the Windows of the World theme park in China is being developed in a semi-forested area here by the city government.

Covering 48 hectares, the Windows of the World in the industrial city of Shenzhen is known for its replicas of over a hundred world landmarks.

Cromwell Bonghanoy, city information officer, said the “premier eco-tourism destination” was being built over a 65-hectare area in Barangay (village) San Agustin.

Bonghanoy said clearing operations have already started in at least 10 hectares of the park, which is about five kilometers from the city center.

“The eco-tourism park will feature cable car rides and restaurants overlooking a vast expanse of lush trees,” he said.

Bonghanoy said the idea came following Mayor Rey Uy’s visit to China early this year.

“Being the family-oriented person that he is, Mayor Uy wants to give Tagumeños good places for them to have their recreation,” he said.

Considered a big project, Bonghanoy said the city government expected the San Agustin Eco-Tourism Park to be completed in three to five years.

FREDDIE ROACH Confirms MANNY PACQUIAO SLANDER CASE Against FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR.

Recently, Mayweather Sr went on the record and accused the pound for pound king, Manny Pacquiao of taking illegal steroids. In response to these allegations,, Roach said, " All of the sudden Floyd Mayweather Sr is an expert on steroids? Tell me what kind of steroids Manny is taking Floyd? Tell me how much you know about steroids, first of all. Steroids had nothing to do with the perfect right hand that Manny landed on your fighter, because you didn't teach him how to get out of the way."

Roach is infuriated with these allegations, and goes on to say, " That same punch that we landed on your fighter, is the same one that we'll land on your son, and we'll pass a drug test because we don't take drugs, we don't believe in drugs, and we don't need drugs!"

Roach confirms slander case in the works.

"I am going to talk to my lawyer, there could be a slander case here, and we will sue him. I talked to Manny, and I talked to an attorney, and we are all on board here. This is all over the place now that Manny is on steroids, it's defaming his name."

Roach BLASTS Mayweather

"Get a flghter Floyd, and you will ruin him too. He ruined Ricky Hatton, Ricky was so much better than before Mayweather Sr got him. Not the best trainer, I think Floyd is the F*#@ worst trainer in the world!"
