CHIP TSAO's CHEAP 'CHOW' on PINOY OCWs & Calls the PHILIPPINES as "A Nation of Servants"
This is clearly a racist statement, a derogatory remark and an irresponsible one. Little did Mr. Cheap know that parts of the Spratly Islands were already claimed by our Filipino ancestors long before his mama were even born. Little did Mr. Cheap know that we Pinoys are behind Uncle SAM when we flex our muscles on the Spratly's. But that is not the issue here. It's about Mr. Cheap's demeaning remarks against our Overseas Contract Workers and an insult to the Philippines as a whole.

A resolution strongly condemning the "demeaning" Hong Kong magazine article that called the Philippines a "nation pf servants" has been filed at the Senate.
Senate Resolution 955, initiated by Majority Floor Leader Juan Miguel Zubiri, also urged the Department of Foreign Affairs to lodge a diplomatic protest against the publication and for the Philippine Overseas Employment Agency to look into the working conditions of the Filipino workers in Hong Kong.
"Any patriotic Chinese man should not be giving derogatory remarks against any nationality, including Filipinos in particular," Zubiri said in a statement.
Besides, the senator noted that China's economy was built on the remittances of the overseas contract workers and from the Chinatowns all over the world.
"The 21st century should be an era of tolerance and diplomacy. Gone are the days that we threaten each other by military might. Globalization is the byword. So if this writer feels that the OFWs of Hong Kong should all be kicked out, then there shoud be reciprocity by banning all Chinese-made products in the Philippines," Zubiri said.
He also challenged the writer, Chip Tsao, and other Chinese nationals of his kind to look into their past and see that there was no shame in being OFWs.
"He should do his tesearch and he might find that his ancestors were OCWs as well," said Zubiri.

This is my personal video taken by my Nokia N95 at the SMX Convention Center during the launching of the anti-hypertensive drug AMVASC sponsored by Therapharma on May 5, 2008. The late Francis Magalona and Lea Salonga were the performers that night. The Master Rapper Francis M. died from complications of leukemia almost exactly 10 months after that night.
Here's another video I took with my Nokia N95 at a different venue of the anti-hypertensive drug of Therapharma, Amvasc 5mg presented by the late Francis M. Master Rapper extraordinaire at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on May 16, 2008 Friday. The stage is even more exciting with a huge Philippine flag on display along with swirling light effects that intensified the song number of Francis Magalona.

MOYMOY PALABOY's YouTube Account Named 'moymoypalaboy' Has Been SUSPENDED
Dreams do come true when you're a moymoypalaboy or an Arnel Pineda or even a Charice Pempengco whose uploaded videos on YouTube made them an instant celebrity not only in the Philippines but worldwide.
Moymoy (James Ronald Obeso) with his brother Roadfill (Rodfil Obeso) popularly known as the duo 'Moymoy Palaboy' whose uploaded videos in YouTube (lipsynching popular tunes) garnered an awesome 36 million hit views in all of their videos combined. Their YouTube videos caught the attention of GMA-7 & MTV Philippine executives that had the duo signed a contract deal with them instantly making the duo not only a star talent for GMA-7 and MTV Philippines but a recording artist as well.
In the evening of March 26, 2009, YouTube account moymoypalaboy, that very same YouTube account that garnered 36 million hits worldwide, which has been up since 2007 was unfortunately suspended. YouTube claimed it was due to copyright infringement. Although moymoypalaboy's videos of themselves were original, the songs used weren't theirs and that's where the copyright infringement took in.
Many fans were shocked upon learning of the account suspension and some even wanted to set a petition to revert moymoypalaboy's YouTube account back.
The high and mighty YouTube once again stomped their feet into the duo's high hopes because the 'moymoypalaboy' account was supposed to be their benchmark for their further successes. For the sentimentals, that account was supposed to be marked as an archive with memorable comments as well.
Not crying over spilled milk, fans could only hope for the best to Moymoy and Roadfill but I still consider that suspended YouTube account to be the duo's finest point in their career because that account made them what they are today. Yes they can create another YouTube account named moymoypalaboy14344, moymoypalaboy01, moymoypalaboyreloaded or whatever BUT, as they say, nothing beats the original and that 'moymoypalaboy' YouTube account is the original for all its sentimental reasons.
Yet still, considering the duo's tremendous success today one would even consider the suspended account as old school. The duo's new YouTube account (if there is one) would surely open up more opportunities for the duo as well as a new way for sprouting new fans along the way. The duo's popularity is not about the YouTube account, it's all about the duo's charm and zany antics. So, without much ado, let their charm and zany antics continue particularly in the medium called television.

Last Wednesday, Pacquiao announced from his Los Angeles apartment his decision to rescind his contract with Solar and change media partners to ABS-CBN. The day before, Solar signed a block-time agreement to air Pacquiao’s May 2 fight against Ricky Hatton in Las Vegas on the GMA network. And the day before that, Pacquiao received P15 million from Solar, representing 25 percent of his P60 million fee for the exclusive Philippine TV rights to his fight.

Los Angeles, California -- DARN, IT’S ONLY THR FIRST DAY!
At the rate things have started at the Wildcard Gym, Freddie Roach, the famed guru at the gym may have a hard time finding more sparring partners for Manny Pacquiao.
And what happened today, the very first day of sparring, may serve as a warning to Ricky Hatton and his loudmouth trainer Floyd Mayweather Sr.
The message to them is: Quit talking and start training, because Pacquiao is on a war path.
Pacquiao today more than ever showed that he means business and is treating his fight with Hatton with extra determination.
Pacquiao knocked down his sparring partner, a pretty respectable boxer from Glendale, California, Art Hovhannesyan in the second round.
Then disaster struck!
Hovanessian was cut on the upper eyelid (a cut the ringside experts describes as about one inch) by a single left hook resulting in the immediate stoppage of the sparring.
And the guy was fully equipped with a head gear with a face mask!
Could you imagine if he wasn’t?

Here are some snapshots I find very entertaining by itself. TV Appearances of Moymoy Palaboy & Roadfill seems always contained in the IyoTube (YouTube) frame since they started appearing in Bubble Gang. Now their SOP segment in March 1, 2009 they managed to 'come out' of that IyoTube frame and performed live with their singing voices in front of a live audience (first time they came out of the frame was the Bubble Gang Anniversary with Bohemian Rhapsody).

MOYMOYPALABOY's Amazing & Highly Entertaining DEBUT ALBUM 'UPLOADED' : TWO THUMBS UP - 5 OUT OF 5
moymoypalaboy (the duos Moymoy & Roadfill), lipsynch artists, now sings their own songs. They sang 'KAPIT' in the all-digital film called DAYO last year, now in their debut album they sang an amazing array of songs equally good and at par with the best of the local artists out there. I tell you, these boys can really sing with a range of amazing vocals. This is the album I hope all of the haters out there would change their mind about their perception of moymoypalaboy. And as for the millions of fans out there, they will truly have a blast with this album...just turn on the volume of the audio as high as you want then you'll have a great time.
I got to tell you guys the music and video content in their debut album are truly amazing and very entertaining.The songs in the album is a myriad combination of punk rock, ballad to novelty songs. 'Lumayo Ka Man Sa Laklak', I guess, is their signature song currently making airwaves in radios today. 'FTW' with Gloc9 is a combination rock and rap...the song also has something to say about the moymoypalaboy haters hehehe. 'House of the Rising Sun' an upbeat version of the 1960s classic combined with hilarious dance choreography by the moymoypalaboy band. My personal favorite is the video 'Who Are You Mumoy?' feat. sexy Hi-C of mobbstar. Brother Louie is fun with moymoy's friends in Pasay as well as the MP forumers, Mexican fans will get a kick with the spanish song 'Chorizo Burrito'...I guess it's a tribute to their Mexican, Peruvian and all latin american fans. 'Ang Anghit Mo' takes the essence of a Tito, Vic & Joey into this hilarious segment.
You can truly see the amazing talents of this duo by simply watching their videos in the album because they are the ones who conceptualize the video and the editing as well..take for example the 'Lumayo Ka Ma Sa Laklak'...one can see that the subtitles are in reverse then one would realize that the reversed subtitles were actually lyrics of the song viewed by the group of laklakers as seen thru their eyes during a videoke spree while drinking alcoholic breverages.
It's also an honor that I was included in the video 'Rugby Boy', I am the one who had a verse and as the doctor who advices Roadfill (the other half of moymoy palaboy) that he would die if he still go on using rugby inhalers and to read my name in the acknowlegement of the album is touching *sniff*. Not sounding bias, if I wasn't a fan myself I'd still rate this album 5 out of 5 because of the album's selection of songs.

P 285 is very reasonable, very satisfying and worth it. I dare not upload the videos at Youtube, I hope no one will upload it, I also hope that piracy would be somewhat tamed or none at all. Kudos to the duo for a wonderful and enjoyable debut album ! Let us support our Pinoy artists, no to piracy.
