Insiang is a 1976 Filipino drama film from the late director Lino Brocka, adapted from the teleplay of the same name by Mario O'Hara (who also co-written the screenplay), which tells of a young poverty-ridden woman who seeks revenge for those who have ruined her life. The film stars Hilda Koronel, Mona Lisa, Ruel Vernal and Rez Crotez. Insiang is the first Filipino film to enter the Cannes Film Festival.
