MOYMOY PALABOY & the Crab Mentality Thinkers of ManilaTonight.Com

Moymoy Palaboy haters always argue that the antics of YouTube's Back Dorm Boys were 'stolen' by the Moymoy Palaboy duo. If that is the case then Moymoy Palaboy has refined the Back Dorm Boys' zany antics to near perfection.

As a matter of fact, the Moymoy Palaboy duo has already LEVELED UP not just by mere lipsynching but also have already released their very own album containing songs with their real voices. They already have a big TV network behind them, hordes of gorgeous Mexicans as well as Pinays as fans.

Yet still, haters I know from the ManilaTonight.Com still argue that the Moymoy duo are copycats of the Back Dorm Boys despite the already proven talent of the duo as seen and heard in their Uploaded DVD album.

Some haters were surprised that the duo can actually sing but most haters still kept their eyes and ears shut and insists on their OUTDATED argument that the duo are mere copycats of the Back Dorm Boys thus failing to see or discover the sheer talent that this Moymoy boys have in the later part of their career when it comes to their actual singing and comedy, heck they even have their own band for their promotional gigs.

I must say that Crab Mentality lingers in the subconscious minds of most Moymoy Palaboy haters specially those bozos at the ManilaTonight.Com, I am even lambasted personally just because I support the duo. For all they didn't know, I support not only the Moymoy duo but other Filipino celebrities as well because I like seeing Filipinos receiving successes in the international limelight and locally as well.

Speaking of the Back Dorm Boys, here's the latest video of moymoypalaboy, uploaded June 22, 2009.

hi doc,

i just don't understand why some people hate the success of our fellow pinoys. all of us deserve a break at some point in our lives and it is only appropriate to give praise, support or even just a thank you to these fellas simply because napapatawa nila mga nalulungkot, bored, namomroblema, naghahanap ng solusyon sa problema, etc etc etc.

though i am not a super duper fan of moymoy and roadfill, i am a fan not just because of their celebrity-level now, but i admire them for their efforts in working hard to earn a living despite the succumbing economy of our country. di lang sila talented, kundi ginagamit din ang mga utak nila to earn. di tulad ng iba dyan, dakdak lang ang alam!

yeah, some people may lambaste us for believing in these two guys coz they can't see the GOOD in what they're doing. what they see are the little flaws.

heck, lahat naman po tayo, one way or another, we take ideas from others so we can start building our own concoction of unique offerings. much as what these guys did, sabihin nang nakita nila ang style nung mga backdorm guys, iba yung style na na-produce nila. and iba ang charisma nitong dalawang ito coz pang international pa.

God bless!

well said Diane, thanks. nakahanap ako ng kakampi hehehe. I am just ignoring the haters at ManilaTonight.Com right now and still continuing to update the moymoypalaboy thread at the said site, just as what Roadfill is doing...ignoring them. and to put the matter in a positive insight, the haters are part of a complex ball game, winning will mean nothing if there aren't any haters out there...sort of a symbiotic relationships hahaha

well doc, you can count on me. i think we have the same views pagdating sa mga ganitong issues.

it's not just a matter of admiring people like them who are famous, but also admiring their successes despite the negative feedbacks and conditions.

di bale lamang naman yung mga positive ang tinging sa ginagawa ni roadfill at moymoy eh. kaya lalo silang sinisipag at nagiging successful.

cheers!!

Diane
