In case nobody here remembers or doesn't know either (because they were not yet born at the time) Merle Fernandez rose to fame courtesy of the 1970 adult-oriented film 'UHAW'. The film stirred controversy in Philippine Congress at the time and it was considered as the first BOMBA film in the Philippines. UHAW also starred Tito Galla and a young Annabelle Rama. Merle Fernandez is the eldest sister of Rudy Fernandez.
