Daniel Craig said Bond is "still too headstrong and doesn't always make the right decisions". Writer Paul Haggis added Bond will be "a very human and flawed assassin, a man who has to navigate a morally complex and often cynical world while attempting to hold onto his deep beliefs of what is right and wrong"
DCRJ's say on this: Characters from recognizable film franchises are getting 'overhauled' for today's generation. Established film icons are no longer characterized as 'too cartoony' for the sake of entertainment but dwells in a sea of morality that questions the very core of their inner soul. Such film that comes to mind is 'The Dark Knight'. Now the latest James Bond also indulges in these style. Iconic characters now has 'matured' courtesy of those courageous and daring scriptwriters which borders the storyline within the deepest recesses of the scruples. I just hope audiences won't get tired of these trends, it's still refreshing to watch the old cartoony 1966 classic TV 'Batman' starring Adam West.
