The 'Cebu Doctor Rectal Surgery Scandal' is about a video posted in YouTube that shows 3 doctors and a nurse laughing while performing rectal surgery to remove an aerosol body spray canister stuck in a homosexual man's anus. The video was posted on April 17, 2008 on YouTube but was banned due to perhaps, scandalous circumstances involving highly regarded doctors and nurses in a government-run Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City, Philippines.
The hospital's chief of clinic, Dr. Roque Anthony Paradela and commitee has found probable cause to file administrative case against the 3 doctors and the nurse for violation of the provisions of Republic Act 6713 or Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees.
